More than a company committed to environmental sustainability, we are focused on making sure our companies generate as much positive social impact as possible. In this respect, and as biodiesel producers, we are proudly recognized with the Social Biofuel Seal.

In 2007, the Ministry of Agrarian Development (MDA, in Portuguese) awarded Oleoplan the Seal due to the group’s commitment to acquire a major portion of its raw materials from family farmers. Nowadays, we rely on over 30,000 soybeans, castor beans, oil palm and other crops suppliers, registered in the National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture (Pronaf, in Portuguese), providing these family farmers with continued technical training and assistance, from planting to harvesting.
